Car and ATV touring has a long, proud history in Colorado. It was, in fact, invented here by the Stanley Brothers (who invented the stanley steamer car... and the first ATV) after a long and interesting conversation with Enos Mills, the pioneer of recreational tourism and nature conservation, and father of Rocky Mountain National Park.
Besides identifying and guiding you through trails that are accessible to wheelchairs, walkers and also for the small legs of young children, this blog will be providing tips on scenic drives and ATV trails, and how best to enjoy them.
